The Oceaneer Hotel has invited some of the most elite artists in southeastern North Carolina to share their works with our guests. The Autumn Art Boutique will coincide with the Kure Beach Holiday Market on Saturday, November 22, at Ocean Front Park—just a stone’s throw from the hotel.

Artists featured in this special showcase include nationally renowned muralist and painter, Virginia Wright-Frierson. Virginia is well known for creating the Bottle Chapel at Airlie Gardens in Wilmington, NC, and for painting and installing a mural in the atrium of Columbine High School in 2000 as a permanent visual sign of hope for past, present, and future students.

Other premier artists’ genres include collage works, jewelry, glassworks, pottery, and furniture design.
